Okay so Sunday afternoon/evening we got about an inch of snow. Then it rained all night long and washed most of the snow away. Monday morning the roads were a bit icy/crunch but not to bad by 3pm that afternoon Devon and I found this.
A snake out warming himself (although there was no sun) and if you look closely behind him -- yes there it is one of my bulb plants trying to come up in friggin' January. It snowed that day before it is obviously not warm enough for bulbs to be sprouting but they are. Here is more evidence:
Oh and just for fun a shot of Devon talking to "Snakey" - he talked to him for like 10 minutes.
