More Snow & Ice...when will it stop.

So church was canceled again this week for weather. After almost a week straight of being in the house Devon was begging to go outside. Our friends a street over the Conacher's happened by just as we were getting ready to go out so we all went and played in our slipper back yard. Devon loved the snow but he was even more fond of the the 1/4 inch to 3/8 inch sheets of ice on top of the snow. He spent most of the time we were out picking up chunks of ice and throwing them. Ellie was not as fond of the snow but I think she enjoyed watching the dogs try and run though it. Once the momma's got cold we headed in for hot chocolate and let the kids entertain each other for a little while. It was a nice break. Here are a few of the shots we got.
