Had our ultrasound yesterday and confirmed what Devon's been telling us for months...he is having a little sister. Everything looked good although the tech had a hard time getting shots of what she needed because the baby was so active. Devon enjoyed getting to see the baby but got bored pretty quickly when the tech started measuring bones and checking none baby areas (like the placenta). We start crying to Darren about the baby being gone every time the tech refocused somewhere else. Now we just have to convince him that the baby is still not big enough to come out...and he has started asking the baby if she is getting bigger yet. So cute. We are very excited and finally starting to feel like we can make some serious decisions (about rooms, and beds, etc.) now that we know what we are having. And at 20 weeks we are halfway to have a new little one in our lives. Yeah!

Oh my gosh! How exciting! Congratulations! I'm so happy for you! Now you can finally pull out those baby girl outfits you've been collecting for years! YEA!
YAY!!! Congratulations. That is so excited. Girls are so fun. But then again, so are boys. I'm happy for you!
Wahoo! You're going to have so much fun with her! Girls are very dramatic, but so so much fun. It's a lot easier to shop for clothing for them too!
