Last Day of Preschool...

Devon had his last day of preschool on Friday and they had a little ceremony. It ended up being about 5 minutes long. The kids sang a song they have been learning and then they each got a certificate. I got a bit of the song but I had apparently forgotten to put the memory card back in my camera & it could only get a few seconds.

I also tried to get a picture of the Devon but they are all fuzzy as he just couldn't hold still long enough. Oh well. Here are the two best I got.



I did think he would be a little bit sad about preschool ending but he is already asking when he gets to go to kindergarten. HE is very excited that we made it through the lottery process and he gets to go to full-day kindergarten. I must admit Mommy is pretty excited about it too. I just can't keep up with the boys constant desire to be learning and testing what he learns. Hopefully I have signed him up for enough summer classes to keep him at least partially entertained for the summer. Sept 6th can't get here fast enough. Especially if this rain never lets up. :-)

The bed is beautiful and extremely sturdy so it should handle Devon and his rambunctious ways. Abi seems to really wish it was hers - every chance she gets she is in there climbing all over his bed making herself at home.

Devon is very excited about his bed and being bigger. He was also excited to help make the bed. If you'd like to see pictures of the finished product and some of the finishing processes check out the album here:
