Lovely Autumn Weather and Pumpkin Carving

Today after a week of cloudy skies and rain off and on all day everyday we got a nice break of beautiful blue skies and sunny weather. We snuck out into the sunshine this afternoon and had a nice family walk at our local park.

I just loved the color on this tree. It was a great little family outing and something I need to remember to try and do more often. I loved that I had my camera with me to get a few of magical moments too.

After dinner we got down to the business of pumpkin carving. Devon did his own design this year and did quite a bit of the carving. It turned out awesome & he is very proud of it - even naming it Big Scary.
